Take a Full-day Tour to Cadaqués
If you think about a trip to Cadaqués, Dali may be the first word that pops into your mind. In this little town on the Coast Brava, things to do are endless, and one of the top spots of any itinerary is a visit to the many Salvador Dalí attractions.
Begin your tour from the dreamy Barcelona on a trip to Figueres, one corner of the ‘Dalí Triangle’, where Salvador Dalí spent his childhood. The little town near the border of France is filled with quaint streets and village landmarks, including the iconic Salvador Dalí Theatre-Museum, which has become known as the largest Surrealist object in the world.
The spectacular museum was designed by Dalí in the footprint of an old municipal theatre. Take a trip through the eclectic world of Dalí through a collection of mind-bending artistic creations, including the incredible rooftop egg sculptures.
You can also experience Dalí’s truly unique artworks including, Galatea of the Spheres and the fascinating Mae West Room installation. Salvador Dalí’s Surrealist works shaped a generation of artists with the topsy-turvy stories they told.
Following Dalí’s journey down to the stunning coast of Cadaqués is one of the best things to do in Coast Brava. Have a splash in the clear water or walk along the sandy coves along the beaches of Cabo de Creus.
The Old Town is decorated with idyllic white houses (with splashes of blue) and gorgeous architecture that paints a picture of olden-day Cadaqués. You can visit the stunning church of Saint Maria as you explore the cobbled streets and take in the amazing view of the Cadaques beaches, and its sparkling bay. Experience a true-blue Mediterranean vibe on the streets of Cadaqués!
Then, discover the secrets of the Casa-Museo de Salvador Dalí (Dalí’s House), the artist’s old residence in Port LIigat (the second point on the Dalí Triangle) where Dalí created some of his most prolific works in the tranquil cove he called home.
If you’re looking for something different in the summer, take a day tour from Barcelona to Figueres, then head for Pubol Castle, the third point on the Dalí Triangle, and the gorgeous beach town of Palamos.
Visit the Gala Dalí House-Museum in the castle, which was home to Dalí and his wife, and makes for a fascinating experience. Then, enjoy a meander through the sun-kissed streets of Palamos, where you can find the spectacular home of Josep Maria Sert, a close friend of Dalí’s and fellow artist.
Discover the artistic heart, stunning beaches and picturesque streets of the Costa Brava on a trip to Cadaqués. This little town is an unsung treasure on the Spanish coast that you won’t want to miss!

The Museum is wild fun and the trip to the fishing village over the mountains was breathtaking. No Costa Bravo tour however so mis-represented on that front.

Based on the description of the tour I expected to visit a small fishing village on a coast of Costa Brava. The museum tour was as expected however afterwards we were taken to a remote beach in a national park. We passed through a trailer park full of campers to get to a parking lot with 100s of cars, all parked in a dusty field. Then had to trek 15 min through a dirt road, in hot sun to the beach in our museum attire. We were then given 20 min on the beach before we had to head back to the car. I expected to visit a fishing village in lieu of Cadaques. This was definitely not at all comparable. It would have been better if the tour ended at the museums.
