  • Visit the famously beautiful Generalife Gardens

Granada is a beautiful Medieval city, with much to explore. These day tours from the nearby city of Seville take you to all of Granada’s top attractions, like the Alhambra Palace, the Generalife Gardens, and the fortress of Alcazaba. You will also explore the winding streets of Granada, where you can see how much and how little has changed in the town since Moorish times.

These tours are the perfect way to escape the city of Seville (itself so beautiful), and enjoy Spain’s more rural pleasures without having to worry about the details. You’ll have some free time in Granada – we suggest you spend it sampling local cuisine and cava! You’ll learn so much about the historic city, and see hidden gems you never would have found on your own.

Choose between a private guided tour for a group of 1 – 4, a small-group tour, or a larger guided tour with a smaller price tag! All include transfers from Seville.

Best Time to Go

The best time to set off on a day trip from Seville to Granada is during the shoulder seasons! Spring (March – May) and autumn/fall (September – November) have fewer crowds, and the weather is idyllic. Most days are sunny – and you’ll want to enjoy this beautiful Medieval town in the cheerful sunlight!

Train from Seville to Granada

If you prefer the idea of exploring Granada on your own and simply buying a ticket to Alhambra, catch a train! It will take longer – between 3 and 4-hours, rather than 2:30 hours by car. This makes it a better option if you’re planning to spend more than one day in Granada.

The Seville to Granada train costs approximately €40 Euro for one-way, which means that while the tours aren’t cheap, group tours cost less than you would spend for everything combined on a private trip. Still, some people prefer to travel that way, so choose the best option for you!

Day Trips from Seville to Granada

These Seville to Granada tours include comfortable luxury transfer from your hotel in Seville to Granada and around! You’ll spend much of the day exploring on foot. Entrance fees are included in the tour tickets so that you don’t have to worry about anything!

Join a group of excited individuals and get transported to Granada! Here you’ll start out strong with a visit to the palatial complex of Alhambra, one of Spain’s most famous monuments. Skip the lines and learn about the dynasties that called it home. The intrigue and battles!

You’ll explore Granada’s old quarter, admiring the unusual Moorish designs and architecture. Visit the gardens and enjoy free time to set off on your own, or with some of the friends you’ve just made. It’s the perfect tour for anyone interested in Medieval history and war, who’s happy to explore with other like-minded people and share the enthusiasm!

Good tour, in spite of rain. Comfortable bus. Took over an hour and a half to pick up fellow travelers around Seville, so we spent nearly 5 hours TravelIing to Granada. Was exhausting.

We enjoyed it very much. The bus ride was relaxing and the guide provided a good bit of information as we rode past various areas, though we had some trouble understanding her English due to her strong Spanish accent. At Alhambra, we did not have to wait to get in. Our guide at Alhambra was fantastic and it is a beautiful and interesting place. Great trip.

Alhambra Palace and Albaicin Walking Tour is a must do attraction for those interested in history and architectural beauties from the past. Our Guide Ms Petra from Andalsur Tours (From Seville to Granada & Albaicin Walking Tour ) was extremely energetic, friendly & helpful while Mr Fernando the Local guide for Granada Alhambra Palace was extremely informative and efficient.. Loved the trip inspite of the heat.

The guide in the bus, Roman, was excellent. His voice was cool and he was very knowledgeable. He connected well with us. He knew when to let us rest and when to give us information. The bus stop at halfway is also very good. Albaichin is a lovely town worth the visit. Food was also very good at Café Gabriel. The guide in Alhambra was also very knowledgeable but he was just giving information without charm. The palace is a great monument but has lost its glory. One visit is enough.

Good day going to Granads Our tour to Granada was easy and well planned. Seeing the Alhambra and the old quarter of Granada was what we hoped for. Our guide of the Alhambra could have supplied more detailed information, but we did get a decent overview. The guide who took us through the old quarter was great and helped us to have a fun day, The lunch reserved for us was in a good location with good food. Overall satisfying trip.
