Very knowledgeable and nice tourguide We had a very nice afternoon. The tour was well organized. Pedro was a very good tour guide with a lot of useful tips. I highly recommend the tour if you go to Madrid and especially if it’s your first time there.

Review for Madrid tapas & history tour 7pm We originally booked this tour at 4pm but because we wanted to make the most of the weather we upgraded to the Madrid Tapas & History: Lunch/Dinner Walking Tour which is also run by Pedro. It was very fun! We enjoyed every minute. Pedro has lots of knowledge and the four bars we went to were fab, especially the ham and fish bars. In total we had around 5 glasses of wine and lots of food. We were in great company including Americans, Australians and New Zealander's in our group. We finished off at a churo bar which was a great end to the night. Would definantly recommend this tour, thank you Pedro!

    Very enthousiast

Excellent in every way! We were very happy with Alfonso as our guide on this tour of Spanish wine and ham! Alfonso is extremely knowledgeable about his city and a wealth of information. We first enjoyed wine and tapas at a very special historic restaurant (to learn about the wine), and then had a wonderful visit to a historic ham (+ other delicacies!) store, where we enjoyed cava + fantastic ham, cheese and olive oil (and learned a lot about Iberico Bellota ham). We thoroughly recommend this tour!

It was a fabulous trip. The countryside and wineries were beautiful. The wine was excellent. Enrique did a fantastic job. He was informative and engaging and a pleasure to be around. I would recommend the trip to anyone.

A nice wine tasting day This tour costs the most among all wine tasting group tours in Madrid, but I would say it worths. The tour we joined was a group of 12 a good group size and everything was very on time. Good time management of our guide Jorge! The meeting point is easy to find, very convenient. We were led to 3 traditional and modern wineries, some of their wines are outstanding. The underground cellar we went in was very impressive! Our guide is quite knowledgable on wine this makes sense on the whole tour. On our way back to Madrid the brief stop in Segovia was also nice. Although I been there 10 years ago, we still took lots of pic on such a wonderful sunny day . Generally speaking I would recommend this tour to any wine lovers who are going to Madrid. As most of the Spanish red wine people drink are Rioja, it is a fun exploration to Ribera Del Duero indeed.

I was sick, but we still really enjoyed the wine tour. Alfonso did a great job of taking us around to several wineries and giving the history of wine in Spain. Since I ended up getting sick prior to the tour, we were unsure of whether to even go, but our tour was great and we are very glad that we took the chance to go on it.

Great day out with an exceptional guide Guide was very knowledgable and took us to 3 very different wineries, both modern and traditional, where we received excellent tours and information, as well as tastings of 3 wines in each. Really learnt a lot about Spanish winemaking and temperanillo grape variety. The lunch stop in the village was not a highlight but really appreciated the 75 minute stop in Segovia before returning to Madrid . This activity was a little more expensive than similiar ones but seemed to offer better value. I think I chose well. .Only criticism would be that after being picked up near Atocha station we were dropped off near Plaza d'Espana – not a problem in itself but would have been helpful to know in advance for planning purposes.

  9. David – Sweden

Top class tour in Ribera del duero! We had a fantastic time with Ignacio, our entusiastic, friendly and very service mindes tour guide giving us a unique and special experience. Great variety as we started off in a big modern architectural masterpiece bodega just to next find ourselves in the caves storing the barrells of a small familly owned estate with great wines. Felt like being locals as we got to visit the hidden gems such as the restaurante with authentic and tastefull lamb for lunch with a spectacular view and when we had time to spare between the visits we got to visit a bullfight arena and a historic castle. Would definatelly recommend this tour – just make sure you are in too Tempranillo as it is the star of the show.

  10. DavidSHobart

Good food (average two dishes at each of four venues), good wine (a glass at each venue), good company and an excellent guide. What more could you want?) A warning though, this is dinner so don't eat before!

  11. Justin010589

Raul was a great guide and showed us some beautiful places to eat and drink with great recommendations. High quality food and wine with a great atmosphere this really was a highlight of our time in Madrid

  12. Justin010589

The mood was set the moment we arrived when our tour guide, Raul, introduced himself with a bit of humour. The tour was fantastic and exposes you to a lot of authentic Spanish cuisine from the region. At easy restaurant you visit you get a choice of different drinks to try with the food. This tour is perfect for any visitor to Madrid.

  13. Dogaholic

Your search for an authentic experience awaits. You wont regret it. Just do it. Worth every penny. Truly blown away. Our guide, Esteban was engaging and really made the tour magical.
