If you enjoy walking and exploring, this is a great tour. We took this tour with our adult daughter. Our guide was wonderful, personable and engaging. We're walkers so the more we walked the more we explored. She really made the trip worthwhile. I thought the train/subway portion was super. I did not want an all day tour so this was perfect. This tour goes to the Casa Batilo and Casa Mila but it doesn't provide entrance access to those sites.

Ok, here goes! First let's just get to the bottom line for those that just scan through reviews. This was a great tour with an excellent tour guide. We met Daniel promptly at the set time and he was very cordial from the get go. My 25 yr old daughter and I did the 6-hr private tour. We were only going to be in Barcelona 4 days coming from our ski trip in the French Alps, so we wanted to get the most bang for the buck on our first full day in town. We stayed just of Las Ramblas on the edge of the Gothic section of town so our walk to met Daniel was not far. What impressed us most besides Daniel's personality was his knowledge of the history and his ability to convey that information as we waked along. He also had a tablet with power point slides that provided more historical context. Every step of the way was a walk through history. Even the tiles on the streets we walked had a story. Designed by Domènech i Montaner or Gaudi? I would recommend this highly! Ask for Daniel.

The skip-the-line tickets are nice although the timing that we visited Casa Batllo and La Sagrada Familia on a Sunday also seemed less busy. There were 15 of us and it was a good group size and with the earphones, it was easy to hear the narration and jokes by Javier. However I thought Javier could have done a better job ensuring that all 15 of us were together before moving off to different spots to explain the attractions. The transportation was comfortable and prompt by David.

The guide was absolutely wonderful. Genuinely concerned about our well being and if we got everything she said. Spoke perfectly English which even my mom understood (we're Dutch). She deserves a salary raise whatever her salary is! Only thing is that the time in Parc Guëll could have been a bit longer as far as I'm concerned. Would have like to stroll around a bit more. But all in all a really great tour with a very knowledgeable, sweet Nd sympathetic guide.

She was really good. There were two trainees listening and following. Both males. One Javier, young and vibrant, respectful and a pleasure to talk to. The other was a bit older, did have a body odor and always stood in front next to the guide Ally so we couldn't see her. He was anxious and moved around a lot so you had to move to see around him every time he moved. Ally could have pulled him aside and ask him to stay behind the 15 person group, let the paid group go first.
