This famous renaissance mansion is where you will find the magnificent paintings and prints by Francisco de Goya (1746-1828), as well as some other well-known Spanish artists. Over time the museum received donations of many great pieces by other amazing Spanish artists. Today it is famous for representing all of Spain’s artistic creativity!
The incredible Spanish painter, Goya, specifically strove to capture the human experience in new and different ways, not shying away from very dark themes – As you will notice when walking through this mansion of artworks!
On the top floor of this museum, you will find Goya’s political prints/etchings which were the highlight of your visit may very well be waiting for you.
