We were a group of 8 including two boys ages 5 and 7. This experience couldn't have been better for us. The wine and beer were flowing the entire time. We learned a lot about the way they cook in Spain while being entertained the entire time. HIGHLY recommend.

We had a great time, first being guided around the Mercado de La Boqueria, then being guided through cooking and tasting a wide variety of Spanish tapas, and finally sitting down to an excellent paella dinner. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in learning about Spanish cuisine.

Started with a shopping trip at la Boqueria. Mind blowing food. So fresh and plentiful. Then off to prepare and cook the gems we purchased. The chef was very knowledgeable and patient. Everyone had a job and got an opportunity to participate. Then we all shared the meal that we prepared. So delicious. WOW!!

We loved the paella class! It was such a fun and interactive cultural experience. I would 100% this to anyone traveling to Barcelona.

This cooking class was absolutely wonderful! The others scheduled for my class backed out at the last minute, so I ended up having a private class. I had a blast learning to make some traditional dishes (Spanish omelette, paella, pa amb tomaquet, squash soup, creme catalan) while getting to know the instructor and his background. Touring the Boqueria with a local was also incredible – he showed me where to look for certain products, how to try them, etc. Plus, it was cool just to watch his interactions with the vendors – many of whom were his friends. It made the experience feel all the more authentic!

I was lucky as I was the sole person on the course that day, and was given a wonderful and informative market tour and cookery lesson by Lala, who kindly worked around my difficulty walking. I would have concerns if I attended a course in a busy period, as there is only one cooking hob, which seems inadequate to me for a hands on experience. But the staff are kindness itself.
