Photo to the right: The king's chambers. The door opposite looks upon the altar of the Basilica. The queen's chambers are similar to the king's quarters but are located on the other side of the Basilica and have their own view of the altar.


It was on this bed that Felip II spent his last days at San Lorenzo.
