"Vejer de la Frontera" is located halfway between Cadiz and Algeciras, on A475, just off the N340/E05.
Vejer is considered by many to be one of the jewels of Andalucia. This stunning Moorish village is perched high above the steep gorge of the River Barbate. While there are a castle and cathedral to visit, the real attraction here is the network of narrow, quiet, sloping streets that meander through a charming jumble of secret corners, hidden pations and delightful houses.
